All scholarships are for seniors only unless otherwise stated
Dates Due that are listed below are the final deadline dates of the scholarship provider.  All applications are different, meaning that some require it to be post marked by the deadline date and some applications must be in the scholarship committees hands by that final date.  Make sure you read the application thoroughly before assuming you have plenty of time to complete it.  If being nominated is the criteria for any scholarship, you must see Mrs. Leatherwood at least 10 days prior to the given deadline.

Ambassadors serve as hosts and hostesses of the college.  The program is selective and prestigious as well as an important responsibility.

Open to seniors who can submit an essay or multimedia entry based on the following theme for 2008:  "Who needs a new Constitution?"   Contest entries should explore the student' underlying rationale for their positions and can relate to such aspects as state economics, politics, race, tax structures and ethics, to name a few.  Students are invited to discuss their personal responses to why this issue is relevant to the lives of all Alabamians as well as from the perspective of Alabama high school students.

Provides students who have an interest in becoming health professionals (physicians, dentists, optometrists, etc.) a head start in the college preparation they will need for admissions to medical and other health professional schools.

If chosen, all expenses are paid which includes tuition, room and meal ticket.    

Requires a 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least a 20 on the ACT.   Recommendations are also required.
